We take pride in being an entirely independent veterinary facility, committed to your pet’s health and happiness. We are locally-owned, with locations in Chiswick and Fulham we are deeply embedded in the community, driven by a passion for animal welfare.
We invite you to visit us, get to know our team, treat your pet and take a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities. Your pet’s health and comfort are our top priorities, and we look forward to serving you and your four-legged friends.
As Wolfe Vets is an independent business, we can focus all of our time on providing great care to our patients. All our decisions are made locally, not at distant head offices. You, our clients, have direct access to the people who make decisions on the running of the hospital and you can rest assured that our fees are dependent on our local costs, not on central budgets. We are not allied to any other veterinary service providers; all our advice is impartial. We employ locally, pay our taxes locally and spend locally. Our service is genuine value for money, and we will invest in our facilities and staff to continue to be the best vets available. We want to care for your pets better than you can get care for yourselves.
James Bennett has been our chosen vet for 15 years and we would have no hesitation in recommending James to anyone who truly loves and cares about their pet’s health, guaranteeing the best available veterinary care and advice. James is very passionate about his profession and is a very knowledgeable, caring and resourceful vet. James has always been there for us, in both health and illness, right up to the very last breath of our beloved dog Teddy, due to an aggressive tumour on Teddy's spine and eventual paralysis of his back legs, James held our hand and counselled us when the time came to say goodbye, we all shed some tears together that day, James treats his patients as his own pets and looked after our Teddy since he was an 8 week old puppy. We now have another young Staffordshire bull terrier called Bear, we are comforted to know that James is there for us and will be for many years to come, we are forever grateful to him and feel most fortunate to have such a caring professional human being as guardian for the health of our dog.
James Bennett is an outstandingly good vet who has treated several of our dogs over many years, two of whom have had difficult and ongoing health problems. His diagnoses and treatment of our pets has been excellent, both detailed and exhaustive and so has his explanation of them to us. This has always been most helpful and he has been readily available. He is also a very warm and friendly person.
We thought our old wee girl, Rosie, was past help but James gently guided us through what we had to do, got her on the right medicine and turned her back to her old self. Thank you Dr. James!
Our spaniel, Buster is a really important member of our family. He is almost 10 years old and James has been his vet for the majority of his life. Buster has not had the most straightforward medical history which has included two replacement cruciate ligaments, ongoing arthritis, surgery to remove grass seed from his paw and a life threatening gastric infection which saw him in animal hospital for 4 days. James has competently and reassuringly guided us through these procedures - we always felt we were in the safest of hands. Even when I have been concerned about something very minor, James has listened patiently and provided sensible, straightforward advice. He clearly loves animals and understands what an important part Buster plays in our family life. I am delighted to recommend James and wish him every success in his new venture.
James took the time and effort to really get to know and understand our dog and it’s this, combined with his extraordinary intuition and extensive knowledge, that not only saved the life of our dog but also gave him a tremendous ongoing quality of life. We trust him implicitly and cannot recommend him highly enough and it’s why James will always be our chosen vet.
Not only is james an exceptional veterinary surgeon. He inspires confidence by his professionalism and compassion. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
James is, quite simply, the best vet we have ever used. James’ knowledge of his field is matched only by his compassion & reassuring approach to our dog’s care. He has been there for us through thick & thin, and his professionalism and humanity are a credit to his profession. Can’t recommend him highly enough.
